A month ago I received a pair of
Dr. Scholl's Active Series replacement insoles from Influenster to test out and review. Looking over the packaging, it claims that the Active Series is specifically designed for athletes and offers a triple zone protection.
The triple zone protection is divided into the following parts:
- Ball of Foot - padding to improve cushioning
- Arch - reinforced to support foot
- Heel - deep heel to absorb impact with every step
I have been testing out these insoles for the past month and I will say that they have been a great help. I'm able to walk/run for longer periods of time and have noticed that I haven't had the occasional knee pain that I used to experience. I will say though that I'm not a super active athelete, as in running 7 days a week for hours at a time. So with that said for me they worked great but how well will they work for that super active person, only trying them will tell. Even with the cushion of the insoles, they still feel normal under my feet.
The Dr. Scholl's Active Series insoles run for approx. $20 in stores, which I think is somewhat pricey but on the Dr. Scholl's website there is a $4 off coupon to help with the price. So if you're looking for foot support, I suggest you give these insoles a try!
